Same Chipset and southbridge

while using the iDeneb v1.4 distro.. so dont waste ur time downloading it..
ive tried kalyway and iatkos as well but so far ideneb is the only one tha completes the installation... but have the same problem as u in bootup after install..
problem solved, well sort of...
I got it working, well sort of.. wireless, video, sound, lan, not quite working yet...
I'm using this XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final (download torrent) - TPB
just rem to check the DSDT.

I guess I'm about a year late to this thread but I have this laptop and wanted to install Snow Leopard...
I own a Snow Leopard retail disc and I was curious if I could install with this disc and the proper drivers/kexts or if I would be needing one of those universal discs as mentioned by eggshell13?
have an asus 90s and find ideneb 10.5.8 and iATKOS S3 (10.6.3) both install easily. I used utilities to determine exactly what hardware I have. Only problem now is that going from 10.5.8 to 10.6.3 i lost usb 2.0. Still have usb 1.0. a bit of a pain. firewire is there however.
