Help Installing ToH RC2 on Pc
(Before everything, I must say I searched for the right secction to post this, and I hope this is the one. If it isnt, I would thank if someone move the topic so anyone can help me)
Okay... So
Yesterday I've downloaded the ToH RC2 and burn it into a DVD-R. I was following this tutorial and, acoording to it, i have the "perfect CPU" to run in.
I restart the computer, and then boot from the dvd. When they ask me to select the language I select english. Then I went to Disk Utility and formated the disk partition as HFS+ (I've named it "leopard"). Then I procced with instalation. I select the right partition. Then I had selected in configuration and disabled everything that wasnt the OS X (the first option). When I hit start, when the disk verification is like 16%/17% it says to take out the dvd, clean it and then rebooting. I've done that, but nothing happened (same situation), so I hit skip, and it started installing. But when installing, when it reaches like half of the blue bar (15 minutes left) that doesnt go any further. It just stays there, without any clue of life.
I hope someone can help me and sorry if this is in the wrong place... Cheers!

Tried to instal again, but this time, the instalation process was longer and the bar was bigger, but then something like "could not verify the "bsd" package".

Try a distribution like iDeneb, Ipc, Leo4all or Kalyway. I think the one you got is a bit outdated

Lool, okay x P
It was the first that came up to me soo, i didnt really thought of it.
Anyone knows the magic words (key words) to search at some torrent site?
Thanks by the reply ^^
EDIT: I've founded the iDeneb 1.4. If anyone can leave a tutorial I would be really happy

Make a small 20Gb partition dont format it to anything.
Put in the ideneb Dvd and boot Install go through the install and when you come up to where it asks for wich partition/drive go to tools and then disk something something XD.
Then select the partition you made earlier and format to HFS+
Now select the new partition and click customize and chose the settings needed for your pc.
Doesnt need to be a 20Gb partition btw.

hey there, Your trying to use a pretty old distro, try with iAtkos v7 or ideneb, you have to know your hardware before trying, do your research, prepare yourself and try.
Always check the official site for each distro, they explain the basic.
There lots of guides out there but most of them are for specific hardware, so you can pick any as a guide, good luck and report back your progress.
P.S. We can always help you if you post your specs
