same issue
I have basically the same issue - see my post at http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/f181/74350.htm
I am using ver 1.3 IDeneb 10.5.5. - that is what he means by "distro"
There is something with the frequency of the X video the Mac OSx is using which is not right for the VAIO. In Windows it is 60 Hz, and my VAIO is 1280 x 800. I even tried "Graphics Mode"="1280x800@60" and it did not work.
I am hoping someone - or maybe icchansan to help out us both,
I know some X - but I am hoping not to re-invent the wheel. If you have a distro that is too old - you will have GMA 3100 issues that are not solved in that version - that is why he asked what distro. I am downloading 10.5.6 now - which is supposed to be GMA 3100 fixed.
cpus=1 says one cpu core only and -v means be verbose when it boots - so you can see what is going on as what loads.
see [MacOS] Flags and Parameters for OSX86’s Darwin Bootloader for more details

I take it you've installed your GMAX3100 drivers? Also, have you tried booting with the -x flag (safe boot mode)? When I tried to install OS X on a laptop with the X3100, I had to boot with the -x flag otherwise I would get a black screen and be unable to use OS X. It might be a completely different problem to yours but definitely try it.
I've had a blue screen an inability to use OS X after forgetting to install graphics drivers as well
. If you've definitely installed your GPU kexts, try the -x flag, if not - install some GPU kexts and hopefully that'll sort your problem.

gma x3100
OSX_86, my issue is if the Apple GMAX3100 kext are compatible with the Intel 965 chipset without modifications.
I have the apple GMA x3100 kexts on my machine
OSX_86, if you say you used the GMA x3100 drivers - what computer did you use them on? Was it with the Apple kext directly?
When I boot into the command line mode - I see the kexts - but when I exit - it does the same thing - orderly blank blue screen, then the wide blue screen with the black vertical bar
