    Default Help Installing leo4allv3 -stuck in boot loop.

    Hoping to get some help. I have a copy of Leo4allv3 that im trying to install clean. Start the computer boots from the dvd then starts loading stuff-get through a couple of lines of loading things and it just restarts the computer then this all happens again. Tried different settings in the bios but nothing is helping- same result every time..... Any help you guys?

    Im running.
    GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-DS4H
    GeForce 9600 512MB
    AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz
    2GB ram
    500gb sata

    any help is good. Thanks in advance.

    In the BIOS check if you have AHCI Support, Also disable onboard stuff like LAN, Audio, etc.

    Then boot into the dvd again, when darwin appear type this:
    cpus=1 -v
    Post back if you get any error

    I can tell you right now theres no support for your Graphic Card in Leopard, maybe in Snow Leopard.

    hmm ok thats what i was messing with before...i will try again.... but there is absolutely no support for for the 9600?

    I believe ppl can use it, but you wont get QE/CI, you can always google this info...

    k put on the ahci.in my bios after i turn that on another thing will light up with more options... with "on chip sata port 4/5 type set on IDE...i can choose sata on this one too. Dunno if that helps.

    typed in the command cpus=1-v
    start darwin start loading stuff then just restart like it has before...

    Try with to set that thing as sata, if any of this dont work.

    1- Try With USB DVD Drive
    2- Try Another Distro
    3- Try BIOS MOD

    try with a external dvd usb drive? Kaloway i tired before same result....BIOS mod- flashing im guessing?

    Yeah, you can ask for it here, I had the same issue, until I MOD my BIOS, btw, leo4all v4 and kalyway have better support for AMD

    I've a problem to. I can install leo4all v3. I get untill it starts installing and suddenly it jams on 2minutes left:s does someone know any reason of this??
