    I have been able to boot back in using

    "-x -v -f" which i came up with...

    I have successfully logged in using safe mode, however

    -no sound
    -no internet access
    -graphic card resolution is on 1024/768


    Any help ?

    bump.

    Using two different distros (iAtkos and ideneb), i have successfully installed it, however, i cant get to the internet and my graphic card isn't working right because i haven't gotten the right drivers for it.

    I believe theres no drivers for you Video, WIFI, theres for LAN, and whats your Audio chipset? your components are too new, they will be supported in snow leopard

    I have Realtek Semiconductor Corp. High Definition Audio System Software Ver:R1.96 and can you point can you link me to the LAN drivers please ? I'd be very thankful.

    You have to tell me the chipset for your Audio :/, mine is realtek like yours, in my case is ALC888S, you have to find out yours, theres a program called everest, it may help you.

    Heres your LAN

    I installed it successully but i havent even connected any cable and it says connected. I tried manually setting up my IP address but nothing worked.. Thanks for your help so far, i really appreciated it.

    Can you suggest how this problem can be fixed ?

    and here are my audio drivers:

    nVIDIA Unknown @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller
    Realtek Unknown @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller

    I believe ur using a test version of everest, try this one, is full, my looks like this in everest:

    Realtek ALC888/S/T @ Intel 82801IB ICH9
    So that unknown part is what I need to know

    Hi!!

    any update on this? I am still tryn to install on g50v but with no luck for the graphic card drivers.

    I wonder if the new 10.6 will fix all these problems? or if someone found a solution?
