Hi all,

I am new to all this and desperately trying to make it work, im trying to put snowleopard on my dell studio 1555 and am having no sucess i have read every known article on this laptop in snowleopard installation and cannot get past this kernel panic. If any one can shed some light on this would be much appreciated i think its down to the graphics in the laptop but aint sure.

I have made sure bios is set to ACHI, shrunk hard drive to allow space for a new mac partition to be created, tried booting straight from CD, no luck so tried iboot legacy path and still no luck can get grey installtion screen with mac logo but no menus, dialogue/option boxes to do anything and no cursor to choose if there was anything on the screen.

System running currently:
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200)
Dell Studio 1555
Bios: ver 1.00 BIOS A08 PARTTBL
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
Memory:4096MB RAM
Page File: 1558 used, 6598MB available
