i want to install hackintosh on my 1530, but i cant find any tutorials on it anywhere. any advice would be much appreciated, thx

It should be fine ( though I don't have that unit ). You will have a greater chance of success with an Intel ( CPU and chipsets ) setup rather than those based on AMDs or other chipsets like VIA etc. The general rule of thumb is get a distro ( I have good results using Leo and iPC universal ). Decide how you want your disk to be partitioned ( you want both the MS OS and OSX ? or comfortable enough to junk MS ? ) and how much space do you want for each ... OSX can read NTFS partitions ( maybe write as well ) but XP/Vista can even read Apples HFS partitions.
List your hardware ( you'll need this to choose the "drivers" to install in OSX. Burn the distro to a DVD and reboot with -v ... and follow the prompts.
