Help with Converting a Compaq CQ60 to a Hackintosh CrackBook Pro
What's up board, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. Settings for custom install???
I'm guessing all I'll really to know are the motherboard, sound card, video card, WiFi card, network adapter and my motherboard's chipset to set it up. However, I'm a little confused as how I know which options to select during the custom install portion of the installation. I can call HP to get the specifics on the hardware but how do I know what to set as my settings when I do the custom install?
Also, do I have to do anything with my BIOS settings? I saw one article that said this needed to be tweaked but this doesn't seem to be a necessary step in some of the other tutorials I've seen online.
I'm using the Kalyway 10.5.2. install disk. Thanks in advance for the help.
