Thumbs down Having problems with many distro's

    Hi

    PC specification:

    Asus P5N-E SLI rev 1.01G Bios v1406
    nForce 650i SLI chipset
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    Geforce 8600GT 256Mb PCIE
    2Gb Giel RAM
    1x500Gb SATA HDD
    1x250Gb SATA HDD
    1x Sony PATA CDR/DVD Writer

I have read many tutorials on how to install OSX 86 on this motherboard but have had no success.

    I have tried:
    iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal
    iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5
    Kalyway 10.5.2

The above three give me the following screen when trying to install to the hard drive after the customize phase. I always allow the installation to check the installation disk and in all cases no problems are found.

With all the above distros I burn at the lowest speed possible and install via the PATA DVD writer set as master on good quality (I think) DVD disks. In all cases the .ISO's have been MD5 checked and verified after burning. To install I disconnect the 500Gb hard drive (Windows 7) and install to the 250Gb disk that has three partitions: 1:Linux, 2:Linux Swap & 3:Mac OS Extended (Journaled) this partition is disk0s2. I install to this partition which is always found.

The only way I get further than the above is to try to install iAtkos v7. With this one the installation is written to the hard drive but upon the first re-boot I get the following screen. following this if I re-boot I just get the same screen again:

    If I boot with cpus=1 -v -x I get the following screen:

With all of the installations I try to install as little as possible, just a Voodoo kernel and drivers for my video card. I am not sure if iAtkos v7 is compatible with my motherboard, maybe someone can tell me if it is.

All of the tutorials for this motherboard are pretty old, does anyone know a recent tutorial for installation of OSX 86 on this nForce 650i SLI chipset motherboard?
