    Default Hard Drive Selection?

I have one hard drive and i made two partitions so i could install leopard. i boot up everything seems to be going well, until it comes to selecting that partition. both the main partition and the partition i wanted to install leopard on have a red diamond with a ! in them. and i cannot select them to install leopard. NEED HELP!

    Thanks

Oh forgot to put in, i asked what distro to use and i was told Lawless. searched franticly on the web couldn't find, so i used kalyway. that may be an issue. but directing me to lawless might help.

can you please post Laptop / PC Spec, Have you already installed an O/S on the other partition???

If not, reformat drive under one partition, install Mac OSX, then repartition, install windows and update boot loader

you bootup with your distro dvd.
once loaded, you go to disk utility and format the partition (and label it as osx or something )as extended journaled.
quit diskutility, continue with install. now you should be able to pick the partition to install to.

Default ok so one more thing...

So, i have a mouse, and have been messing with the installer. i formated the partition as NTFS and it would not let me edit it, i guess it couldnt hurt to try fat32 because if there is no format it does not show up
