Default hang on 'welcome' animation with ideneb lite 10.5.8 on hp nw9440

Hi there, I am trying, so far unsuccessfully to install Mac Os-X on my HP notebook NW9440.

I have been successful installing MAC OS on my desktop pc so I thought this would be similar. However the problems are just endless. At this point I have tried iatkos, leo4all and now iDeneb which has taken me further than the other installations, being able to actually get past the grey apple loading screen and into the opening animation.. which abruptly freezes halfway through and never recovers.

I have tried setting up all my hardware in customisation, setting up none of my hard ware, setting up only my video card and setting up everything but my video card. I have tried booting my computer with 'Native SATA' mode both enabled and disabled (it wont even see my hard drive with it enabled during installation). When 'Native SATA' is enabled a message appears after the animation freeze saying I need to restart my computer.

Can anyone help? Let me know if you need further details.

    Thanks

ok, i read somewhere to try disabling multicore and i've gotten into the OS! Now I have no wireless, ethernet or proper display resolutions or drivers. But I'm in! I also don't have use of the synaptics touchpad or the actual laptop keyboard.

If someone can point me to drivers for either my ethernet or wireless I'd be truly grateful. Then at least I can continue my search for getting everything else working without having to keep coming back to my desktop

Also.. are there any workaround to getting dual core working again? I'll be using this for Logic Studio so they would be handy.

    Thanks again
