Hang after installation on Toshiba Portege M300
Hi there,
thanks for reading this, I'm a newby in this scene, had an old laptop lying around and decided to give it a go. A sunday later I'm a bit frustrated and turn to you guys for a little help. My laptop is:
Processor: Pentium M 753 1.2 GHz
Motherboard chipset: Intel 855GM
Memory: 1.2 GB RAM - 60 GB ATA
Installation itself is very smoothly but after it goes to boot for the first time it doesn't get any further than this message:
Code:
using 6553 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers
Even booting with the -x option won't get it completely booted up. I tried the iATKOS v7 and iDeneb v1.5. Both with several options enabled or disabled, played for example with APCI drivers and different kernels but it's a bit difficult for me as a novice to debug this problem. Maybe anyone here knows what should work with my chipset?
Thanks in advance!
