Default [Hackint0sh Support] HP Presario Media Center PC M8430F

Unable to get Kalyway, Leo4all, or Toh to load on this using the most recent 10.5.2 releases. The Apple screen never loads, just errors out.

Any help with a Kext would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    I find this today: http://pastebin.ca/988222

Kalyway 10.5.1 work on your machine.

Check your BIOS config and IDE/SATA AHCI modes.

No luck, hangs at the spinning wheel on the Apple screen, never gets to install.

Maybe you have something on chipset without supported by these versions.

    Default com.apple.driver.ApplePCIConfigurator

The error I get with other Hacint0sh builds is (leo4all, Kaliway, Jas)

Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi compenents; use only one style.

    Try this:

Enter on Darwin prompt (F8 after OSX starts)

    Type:

    Code:
    -S
    When prompt OK, type:

    Code:
    /sbin/mount -uw /
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
    rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*
    reboot
Open Darwin prompt again and type:

    Code:
    -v
    Post back results.

    Goodluck ,

No chance, this is only way.

    What to do:

    F8

    -S

    /sbin/mount -uw /

    (backing to root prompt here)

    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext

    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

    rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*

    reboot

ok, I think I know what your talking about. I am actually never getting to install OSX, this happens on trying to boot off the CD, i never get to an install screen so I am not freezing up with this error post install.

Has anyone had any luck getting this to work on an HP8430F yet?
