Make sure your HD is set as master with the jumpers.

I only have one hard drive. Does it matter in that case?

Sorry, you have a SATA..skimmed through it too quickly. What did you format the drive as with Parted Magic? When you go in disk utility in the installation do you see your hard drive, if so did you format it as mac extended? If you did all this, try to boot with the flags: -v -x . Keep us updated
good luck

Well, thanks to the -v -x it reached the first boot set up. Definitley a step in the right direction. But after that's done, when I attempt to boot it now, I get a sky blue screen with a movable cursor. Probably graphics card problems in this case. I have an Nvidia GeForce 7500 LE. In the customization I selected NVinject and the EFI string for 7500 256MB. Any suggestions?

YES!!! It seems like I've done it. However I have no sound or ethernet
can anyone help fix this?

Does it boot without -v -x? For your ethernet card:
open
/System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleIntel8255x.kext/Contents/Info.plist (by right clicking on appleintel855x.kext and click on show package.
Then find the line :
<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x10518086 0x10508086 0x10298086 0x10308086&0xfff0ffff 0x12098086 0x12278086 0x12288086 0x12298086 0x24498086 0x24598086 0x245d8086 0x10918086 0x10608086&0xfff0ffff </string>
At the end of the line add :
You'll end up with something like:
<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x10518086 0x10508086 0x10298086 0x10308086&0xfff0ffff 0x12098086 0x12278086 0x12288086 0x12298086 0x24498086 0x24598086 0x245d8086 0x10918086 0x10608086&0xfff0ffff 0x27dc8086</string>
Save it as Info.plist and drag it to the contents of appleintel8255x.kext
Then open the terminal and type:
sudo rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache
sudo kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions
Open disk utility and repair permissions...your done!
For your sound, try googling applehdapatcher

Yes, Everything works without -v -x. The solution was to use Titan instead of NVinject during the installation. As for the ethernet, I'll reboot right now and try it, i'll let you know if it works. Thanks for your help.
EDIT: Nope
it did not work, I'll look around and see if I could find any solutions on the net. If anyone knows another way, please post it for me to test. Thanks.

I'm about to give up on this. I've looked across all sides of the web just to find something to get my ethernet working, but nothing seems to get through to the machine.
-
UPDATE: I almost have Ethernet working. By "almost" I mean that it only works if I boot with -f like I am doing right now. A step in the right direction? I don't know. If I can get this to work with a normal boot, the rest is cake.
