Ideneb 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 are very similar. That guide is reference of how to make selection and step by step going through the process.

IF you did the partition correctly then Windows7 will still be there, so don't worry about it for now, Chameleon can boot your window without any problem.

    Hi,
You will figure it out real soon, I have faith

Yes, you still could boot to window with either chameleon installed or the DVD disk, I posted it above.

I will be offline shortly so keep us posted of your progress. You'll make it.

    Good luck.

    You're welcome.
I think you will make it soon.
So you will share some Iphone app with me, right
I need to go to the hospital tomorrow, so can't stay up too late!

So, keep trying. Hopefully there is no need to delete those ATI kext, because it's not fun at all.

Well, it is recommended that all ATI video kexts should be deleted before installation, and that is very involved. Not too bad if you have an USB with OSX installer, but this is DVD, so no can't.

Oh, I think you could reboot to single mode first, and delete all installed ATI kext from your partition and then reboot. That way it's never got a chance to load those bad kext to make your video goes black.

Here is what I think could be tried.

    1. Boot in single mode/force cache rebuilt with -x -s -f
    2. Delete all ATI kexts in /System/Library/Extensions
    3. Delete Extensions.mkext
    4. Rebuilt kext cache.

All done with Terminal command, and if it can solve the problem then would be a simple solution because the other method of deleting kexts in installer is very rough, very hard to carry through.

Try to search for how to, if not then I will try to put together some for you.
I ran out of time now, so can't be much help.

    Good luck.

So you got it to work in safe mode with -x
If so then delete all the ATI kexts and see if you can boot in normal mode.
And then will figure out what kext needed for that video card, and install it.
