I have the same exact desktop, however I've upgraded the RAM to 2gb and i have an Nvidia 7300GT gfx card. I used the configuration you did and I have the same issues. I tried installing iAtkos 7i and selecting the same things as I did in 5i. The only difference was the intel speedstep. When the installation is done, it reboots but won't start. It gets stuck on the Apple logo and then I get a little symbol over the apple about 5 minutes into the boot. There is no HDD activity or anything. I've tried -s, -f, -x, etc etc and nothing has worked. Any thoughts?

Also, when 5i was installed, I couldn't boot normally. I had to boot with -x or it wouldn't boot. Any thoughts on that?
