dualbooting vista and iatkos c7
hi im trying to dual boot with vista and iatkos v7 when i have installed it the pc just gets to bios and keeeps restarting is this the same as the hfs partion error?
i have used vista cd for rebuilding the vista bootloader so i can get back into my vista

If you can now boot back into Vista, why not try EasyBCD and add your HFS partition to Vista's boot menu:

i already tried this but it dont work it gives me an error i was thinking maybe reinstalling iatkos and trying this InsanelyMac Forum > MAC Leopard OSX86 with Dual Boot on Vista pc the bit at the bottom about hfs partition error

It's worth a try. I had that partition error once too and that helped.

ok but why doesnt my pc actually say hfs+partition error like on some computers? why does myn just restart?
ill try it as soon as i can anyway

Just restarting usually means you either have a BIOS setting that's causing trouble, or you'll need specific boot flag(s) in order to boot with your hardware.
This blog post lists quite a few options to try, including an alternative to copying the boot file that you found:
