So my question really is which of these will work in order to install leopard on it.
and if any of them works how would one do it, you dont have to give instructions but a nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance
    theman

Ps.Oh i already have leopard install disc, as well as windows xp home install disc. I know my way around both systems.
also if you know of any other netbooks( really small notebooks( like max of 10 inches screen)) that would work please post it!!

    Default

Get the MSI wind, it is the most hackintoshable netbook. The dell mini 9 is in a close second (it just needs an ssd swap).

Here is a great compatibility chart for most netbooks:

Whatever you do, don't get a netbook with a VIA processor. Not only are they ridiculously slow, they're also very incompatible with leopard (no acceleration).

    Angry HP2133 - not working :-(

So I bought the HP Mini Note 2133 and tried several distributions along with 2 different DVD Roms. It just won't boot into the Setup.

Either you get 2 Darwin messages and then the screen is black or you get to see an apple and that was it.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,
    Christian

Default Is the Atom N280 chipset supported ?

I am also researching into buying a netbook for hackintoshing. Does anyone know if the newer netbooks running the Atom N280 (1.7mhz) can be hackintoshed ? I am thinking about the Asus Eee PC 1000HE or MSI Wind 100 plus,

Second question is can an external LCD be used to run expanded or mirror desktop as a 10inch monitor ? Constant use with a tiny 10inch screen will wear the eyes out for sure.

    thanks
    Joe

Theres a tutorial for EeePC 1000HA, in the tutorial section if the HE have the same specs, I think you can be able to use the guide, about the MSI wind did you google it? I think they have their own forum for it, for mods, hacks and stuff like that
