    Default Dell XPS 730x

I've been a proud Mac owner for nearly a decade, but lately I find myself booting into Windows more and more to play games and whatnot. I don't want to lose OS X completely since I still need it for video editing with FCS 2, but I am thinking of switching to Windows 7 as my default OS when it's released.

I know next to nothing about Hackintosh but am researching it. It looks like the Dell XPS 730x system would be compatible with OS X, but I just wanted to verify with people here if this system would be compatible. Does anyone know? Has anyone successfully installed Leopard on this i7 system?

Note: I just realized this probably should have been posted in the Hardware forum. I apologize for posting in the wrong forum. If a mod could move this topic it would be appreciated.

    Default 730x OS-X

Did you get SL installed successfully on the 730x? I have the 730x H2C and tried the USB method, but got kernel panic message.

Now trying this iboot + multibeast method but cannot even get past first step. Burned CD wrong or something. complete newbie at this cross-platform stuff.

    Hi there,

I am also looking to setup my 730x as a hackintosh. I have read up some bit on doing this and had a try with a denib version. the fact is I am happy to pay for the software but have found soooo many different approaches to doing this that Im now confused. Any help appreciated.
