    Default Dell Inspiron 9100 issue

    Hi al !
I have done a bit of research and cant seem to find this issue anywhere. No matter what distribution I use I get the same problem. After setting up my Hard Drive I can only go back or continue with install. The "Options" button stays gray and unselectable. If I continue it goes on through the install reboots and just continues rebooting. Could someone just point me in the right direction? I don't need someone to hold my hand <or want it, i like the challenge> but I am at a wall with this one.

What issue would cause the "options"/"customizations" button to be grayed out?

    Thanks
    Tinv

Not sure how relevent this is but, in your last picture it only shows the HDD. When i was loading OSx tonite i had 2 icons, showing the DVD with the iso on and the HDD.
Did you do -v at the prompt when you first turn on the PC to run through any checks to see if there is a potential problem.
I am new to this but have just installed onto a inspiron 6400(tri boot windows, OSx, Ubuntu) so ican just about remember what screens come up
