    Default Dell Inspiron 530 - Installer could not create folder

    Hi, I'm trying to install over a Windows Vista partition.

    But it gives me the error:

    The installer could not create the folder "/Volumes/Untitled/BaseSystem.pkg.139wP0yiw".


    EDIT:

    I used the Disk Utility to erase the DISKOS3 partition and tried installing to it, and this time it installed some files but now it says:

    The installer could not install some files in "/Volumes/DISKOS3".
    Contact the software manufacturer for assisstance.

    Never mind, I got it to work. I installed iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5.

    this is after installation right ? did u try to boot it with -v -x ?
