    Lightbulb [SOLVED] Dell Dimension 4700

Ok, so I've installed an OSx86 distro before but it has been a while. I have iDeneb v1.4 (Am currently downloading different ones) I'm getting a kernel panic at boot causing a boot-loop.

I've tried all F8 commands and it still reboots. I'm pretty much looking at the fact that I may have installed it incorrectly.

Here is my hardware (Service Tag G0LH561):

    CPU - P4 3.0 Ghz 530
    Memory - 2GB of ram
    Video - x300SE 128mb
    Chipset - Intel
    NIC - Intel PRO100

What kext would you recommend I use?

Well I'm a noob. Out of all the patches I forgot to select a kernel. I guess I was using the vanilla kernel. Once I put it on speedstep, it booted. Now to figure out some other issues, such as graphics staying under the mouse, PS2 not working (Even with fix) and a few others. This machine is just for the purpose of accessing data off of bad Apple computers that come in as my Ubuntu machine doesn't like HFS+ Journaled.
