Components for Hackintosh.
Hey I'm looking to make a hackintosh but I heard that you have to be careful as to what hardware you buy. This is the list of components I'm planning on getting and their prices (in CANADIAN dollars). I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on whether this hardware will work ok, or it if it will have some trouble. Also if you think of any better components for a similar price please let me know.
Thanks so much.
CPU: Intel Q6600 $270
MOBO: GA-EP35-DS3L $90
RAM: 4GB Generic ram $40 (Don't think RAM will affect OSX compatability)
HD: Seagate Barracuda (ST31000333AS) 7200.11 SATA 3.0Gb/s 1000GB (1TB) 32MB Cache (OEM) $120
GPU: Don't have one yet but probably some ATI from around 3 years ago or so.
Looks nice, those mobos have guides, so you wont get any problem with that, now you have to may sure that your video have support ;P so google a bit before, check the HCL, good luck
