I need help!
I installed IDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 and everything installed correctly.
But when I went to boot up my Hard drive with the install on it, nothing happens
Darwin/Chameleon prompt doesn't come up, instead, my computer reboots itself.
It continues this loop until either I insert the install DVD or boot off another DVD
I can't try any of the other posts I've seen because they all require booting Darwin prompt off the HDD install, which I can't do because my HDD install does not open.
I can open Darwin/Chameleon prompt from the install DVD, and even from there when I select the displayed HDD install, my computer just reboots. I can access single user mode in the DVD Darwin/Chameleon prompt, but it's still useless for the code that needs to be typed in.
Sorry if I did not post this correctly, But I am completely new to forums and this is a DIRE EMERGENCY for me.
My Computer Specs Are:
Intel Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz processor
1.75 Gb DDR 400 mhz RAM
250 Gb Maxtor HDD(Windows Install)
250 Gb Seagate HDD(OS X Install)
EVGA 9500GT
External 1TB Seagate HDD

You have to press f8 for darwin boot prompt to come up.
But, have you customize your installation and install the boot loader in your partition?

I used a custom install and chose the option to automatically install chameleon/darwin and bootloader along with the install... and Yes I know you are supposed to press f8 when the dialog comes up that says "Press f8 for more options" or something similar.. thing is, the dialog doesn't even come up, computer restarts itself before anything at all comes up. What happens in the computer starts up... My sony vaio logo comes up and then a dialog screen that displays my CPU, RAM, and GPU comes up and tells me to press any key to continue... I do, and this is when the next dialog screen should come up, but it doesn't. The screen stays black, as if its loading, then I hear the computer perform its startup beep and it starts the process over again.
and if it helps, I'm using a sony Vaio VGC RB50
EDIT:
I fixed my problem, turns out it was an outdated kernel I was using, and I was missing some vital applications in the install... But now a new problem has emerged... I open up darwin from the install on the HDD and press the key to use startup options, and when I type "-s" my screen goes black and nothing happens... It just stays there

This usually means incompatibility with your chipset. Try booting using a USB DVD drive if the error occours when attemping to boot the installation CD.
Misc
So M4N78 PRO is not supported? It has nForce Chipset, so I think should work with nForce kext (but still gives 'waiting root device'). Maybe is a mistake in BIOS config (non EFI)? Or I hadn't to install chameleon? Help

Change in Bios from IDE To ACHI and will works
