All I can suggest it to try another Distro.
The last error seen from your screen shot regarding firewire always appears when my osx86 boots but it simply continues booting anyway

You see Darwin prompt, now type -S (Enter)
Now, you see something lines, bla bla bla and a prompt.

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext (Enter)
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext (Enter)
rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/* (Enter)
reboot (Enter)

Hi all, I have problem with iatkos 5i, I tried to install on my desktop machine and it says that is successfully installed and that i need to restart computer...I take dvd from dvd drive and restart but i stuck at GRAY SCREEN with Apple Logo in middle, i tried boot it with -v -x -f -s cpus=1 and nothing...always stuck at apple logo my machine is:

processor Intel Core2Quad Q8300
ram DDR2 2048MB
motherboard MSI P43T-C51
graphic card is GeForce 7300GT
hdd is Maxtor 6v080E0

if i put dvd back in it says again to restart machine...

Can anyone help me? Thx hanceforth

Go to your Bios setup and try setting your FastBoot to Thorough.

when i booted into my iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3 dvd the first time the screnn went black with a white underscore thing in the left top corner as if i was in terminal [but i cant enter anything]
now everytime i try booting from the disc it just goes ahead and boots windows NEED HELP
