All I can suggest it to try another Distro.
The last error seen from your screen shot regarding firewire always appears when my osx86 boots but it simply continues booting anyway

Hi i tryed this>>> "I can't get past "do you own another mac"; it keeps restarting!!
Boot into your new installation but hit F8 during the prompt and then type -s to enter the single user mode.
    Then type the following:
(Press enter at the end of each line)

    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /
    passwd root
    touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
    reboot

    System Hangs on ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugIn?!

    Boot your PC.
    Pressing F8 repeatedly.
You see Darwin prompt, now type -S (Enter)
Now, you see something lines, bla bla bla and a prompt.
    Now, type:/sbin/mount -uw / (Enter)
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext (Enter)
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext (Enter)
    rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/* (Enter)
    reboot (Enter)
    Pressing F8 repeatedly. (Again)
In Darwin prompt, type -v (Enter) (this for verbose mode)">>> and it still hangs at the loading screen. i know your going to say type -v and tell me where it hangs at... so yea it hangs "system uptime in nanoseconds: 20845446274" i can't think of anything else so i came to you. i hope you can help me. thanks

Go to your Bios setup and try setting your FastBoot to Thorough.
