Default Can't Mount HD for Install.

    Hi Hackint0sh Community~

Trying to give iDeneb a shot and can't seem to get past the 0x00000047 issue with mounting a hard drive for install.

I am trying to do a dual boot HD with Windows Vista on one partition (NTFS) and Mac OSX (MAC OSX Journaled Extended) on another.

Any ideas on what I should do?

    Cheers.

Sure my PC specs are as follow:

    Intel Core2Duo 6420 2.13ghz
    4GB DDR2800 Corsair Ram
    Gigabyte EP43-DS3R Motherboard
    1 x 320GB Western Digital (OS DRIVE), 1 x 320GB Seagate, 1 x 500GB Seagate, 1 x 1TB Western Digital.

Drives are set on AHCI and I am currently running Windows 7.

The drive is currently not partitioned.

For what its worth I have been following this guide: Hack Attack : Dual Boot Leopard and Windows Vista | dailyApps and I am stuck on "# Select the Volume you created previously and format it as MAC OSX Journaled Extended. Once the formatting is done the volume is ready for installation."

The hard drive won't mount or let me do anything to it (Also getting the 0x00000047 errors before the GUI appears).

    Cheers.

For as far as i know mac can't/won't reformat or partition an NTFS (Windows) hard drive you need to do this with either Vista's manager or use a hard drive partition utility.
