Default Can't Get to Opening Screen Keeps Rebooting

Well, I watched a friend load it on an Micron and it went in flawlessly.

    I have a IBM ThinkCentre M50
    Intel P4 2.8G
    1Gb Ram
    Intel Pro/100 Ve
    Soundmax Integrated Sound
    ACPI Uniprocessor
    Intel 8556 graphics Integrated

I load the disk and press any key and it reboots, Press F8 at boot: -s .. System reboots.. Tried F8 and typing different kernel names same think reboot.

    ANY HELP would be appreciated

Looks great but not sure about your video, you need to install a patched kernel like speedstep or voodoo.

Just customize your installation and select a patched kernel.

    Sorry, for being a pain..

Is there somewhere I can find a tutorial on doing that ? I tried what I thought was it .. Press F8 then at boot prompt type kernel name and press enter.

I don't even get that far.. I get a few lines of opening code then it reboots. When my friend did his micron, it went right straight to the part you showed.

Oh, the only distribution I have is the Kalyway 10.5.2

Yes, a brand new IDE HDD .. Not a HT processor..

Guess I'll have to look for the other distro's .. THis is what I get over and over with the Kaly, no matter which kernel I select
(except the kernel name is different)
