I'm trying to install iPC 10.5.6 to my laptop and when I try to boot the installer I just get a blank BIOS screen with a infinitely blinking cursor.

Laptop has a C2D P8400 so I figured I shouldn't have any problems CPU related...

I'm booting off a HFS+ formatted flash drive with the iPC iso "restored" onto it.

I'm new to OSx86 so I'm clueless as what to do now.

I cant even get into the installer either

im not sure why
good luck with yours, im going to try burning iatkos using imgburn again

Tell me if you have any luck with that, cause maybe I just need to switch to a different version.

I'm trying VMware now, ill see how that goes

The VMware player version worked, tho very laggy and slow.
