    can you buy leopard and install it onto a custom built computer. If not can someone give me a guide on how to install mac os x onto a custom built pc. i looked in the stickies and i dont see a guide onto how to install leopard can someone link me please

    Yes you can, if your system is compatible, check some compatible combos on hardware forum, if you wanna try in yours please post your full specs, check the guide to install retail leopard by munky good luck is in the sticky

    They just work for distros, read munkys guide for retail... man munkys guide is in the sticky... come on

    hmm i looked at the sticky. it seems i need to have mac pre-installed i think im not very good with this stuff. sorry am i right or wrong?

    No, dont need mac preinstalled... which part say you need mac preinstalled? about your link check in this forum, in the hardware section section like I said, there some combos... that combo deal is damn old...

    i mean it tells me to write command lines how do you do that if you havent got an os. i also mean it says something about boot 132

    Man I dont think you really want this.

    1- You will type commands after installation in terminal...
    2- He give u links there to download 132 bootloader and to read more info about dsdt and stuff like that.
    3- Theres one here in distribution forum too.

    ok. ill re-read it and look through it. so basically, i install leo then use the terminal and write some commands. but the commands are complex, so it will take a while i think. may i ask your opinion, do you think in about 5 years time we will still be able to install mac os x onto a normal pc? thanks
