My hardware configuration follow
Motherboard: Asus P5K
Cpu: Q6600
Mem: 4 GB DDR2 Corsair
All Sata2 drive
Video card: NVidia 8500 GT
Installing Kalyway 1.5.2 or iDeneb 1.5.2 all work properly.
But, I used a boot disc for my Asus P5K and, when i put the Original Mac OS X disc installation appear a pop-up window saying: "Mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer".
I think it's because my motherboard. Isn't so ?

Boot-132 and Intel Core i7 + DX58SO results in reboot
I have a Core i7 w/DX58SO motherboard. I had downloaded the generic.iso and have a retail Leopard disk and Leopard install on a bootable USB drive. I burned the generic.iso and booted the computer off of it. I can then attempt to boot off the USB drive but it reboots as soon as it hits the "Starting Darwin/X86" part.
What I assume is happening is the generic.iso is booting and loading kext's and then attempting to boot to usb drive. Once it trys to do that I get an automatic reboot.
Here are the last few lines...
Loading HFS+ file: [/Extra/Extensions/IntelCPUMDisabler.kext/Contents/MacOS/IntelCPUMDisabler] from 433ae60
Loading HFS+ file: [/Extra/Extensions/SMBIOSSEnabler.kext/Contents/MacOS/SMBIOSEnabler] from 433ae60

*REBOOT*
Any suggestions to get Leopard on this wonderful machine?

hai guys.
im new here.
i have a problem.i cant even boot using the dvd (kalyway which includes all the patches).
i have changed the BIOS setting accordingly..but my pc still cant boot from the dvd. Surprisingly, i can boot using the dvd in my laptop without much hassle..there was no need for me to change anything in my laptop BIOS setting for the dvd to boot up.thus, complete the installation.
pls guys, i really need your help.
my desktop specs are as follows :
acer aspire L3600, core 2 duo 2.4ghz
320GB SATA
2GB RAM
Vista SP2 RC
Your help is much appreciated.
