Alright I'll list my system specs and then proceed with details about my issue.
Acer Aspire M5641
CPU: e7200 @ stock 2.53
MOBO(acer brand?): Nvidia MCP73PV (99% identical to ????????????????????????????)
Hard drive and dvd drive connected to sata 1 and 2
Well at firt boot of the dvd I pressed F8 and entered -v. The computer restarted and i tried mach_970 -v. It then produced this result.

Next I entered cpus=1 and it booted until i got the stop sign like this:

I went in to try and play with my sata config, but there isn't much of anything I could find. This a picture of my useless sata config. Any Suggestions?

Hi, i had the same problem with ideneb. then i build in an old IDE CD-Rom and IDE Harddrive to my pc. Then choose the IDE CD_Rom Drive in Bios to boot from. That worked...
