So ... any ideas on what I can try? Am I posting in the wrong place?

Is there a good resource somewhere that I can read to help me figure out what's not working?

    Thanks!

I tried using Vista's diskpart to set the OSX86 partition (d1,p3) on the same drive as Vista to 'active'. The subsequent reboot resulted in:
    Code:
    boot0: MBR
    boot0: done
    boot1: error
I couldn't boot anything until I used another utility (GParted) to set the first partition on the same drive (d1,p1: XP) to boot, which restored the Vista boot loader. But I still can't boot into the OSX86 installation.

    At least they can't say I haven't tried ...

Any suggestions on how to fix the problem, please?

By the way, here is a photo of the kernel panic that occurred after installing the Voodoo kernel in the iDeneb installation, and while trying to copy a large (4+GB) file from an external USB drive to the local HFS+ partition:

The issue is due to the fact you have XP as well as vista installed along with OSX86. I don't think EasyBCD allows you do triple boot as XP uses a differen't bootloader and messes things up.

Can you boot into any of the OS's ?

Darn ... but after my initial install of iDeneb into d1p3, with XP in d1p1 and Vista in d1p2, the iDeneb installation worked and booted, and so did the other two Windows partitions! It wasn't until I installed the Voodoo kernel into that installation to try and fix some problems, and then tried to install other OSX86 distributions into the same partition (d1p3, after deleting the existing partition during the OSX install process), that I could no longer boot OSX and started getting this error.

Yes: after reinstating the Vista boot loader, I can boot to both of the Windows partitions (XP and Vista).

Ok. Which bootloader are you using currently to boot into Vista and XP ?

Ok. Have you got OSX86 installed and it just wont boot? If thats the issue then just follow the guide on how to dual boot vista and OSX86. A link is found in the FAQ thread. As your using the vista bootloader then i believe you should be able to just add the mac osx86 entry and it should work.

Yup: OSX completed its install successfully, and XP and Vista were already installed. I added OSX to Vista's boot loader with EasyBCD. But when I try to boot to it, I get the 'boot1: error' message.

Try booting OSX86 with the CD in the drive, it could be a temporary solution.

EDIT: If that doesn't work i have one last idea.
