Well, I tried to install OSx86 again. So far no luck. It installs perfectly well. That part is fine. I use every customization I need and I still get:
I've already used dd for boot0 and boot1h.
My specs are:
HP Pavilion dv5215us
ATI Radeon 200M Series
2 GB RAM
iDeneb v1.3 (10.5.5)
Formatted as: Macintosh HD (Journaled, Case-sensitive)
I'm pretty familiar with Hackintosh. I had one for 2 years but then that computer broke. New computer isn't working so well with Hackintosh. I also have SGB (Super Grub Disc) to work with.
I am not trying to dual boot, I have Puppy Linux's Live CD and Ubuntu's Live CD to fall back on. I'm pretty sure I need to install Chameleon, but I have no idea how. Any suggestions?
I tried booting from the Install Disk. No luck: platform=ACPI_x64 -v -f rd=rdisk0s1
Get Still waiting for root device that way (I tried rdisk and disk for rd=)
NO LONGER AN ISSUE
Reinstall after putting new Chameleon on fixed it.
New problem is...
When I boot all is well, the apple goes away and the screen stays. I head music in the background and then hear some guy telling me about Screenover or something and prompts me to press keys. The screen never changes no matter how many times I reboot. Help?
