    Default [Support] Black Screen useing ipc OSX86 10.5.6 final

    I been useing ipc osx86 to install on my gateway gm5664 I able to get it install then it reboot for the first time then i boot into -f and -v everything goes fine then it goes to a black screen and that it.

    My spec
    Cpu: AMD Phenom 9600
    Memory: Memory 3072MB 667MHz DDR2
    Motherboard: MCP61PM-GM
    Video Card: 8800 gt 512mb
    Sound Card: X-Fi XtremeGamer i know their no drivers supported
    Hard Drive: 2 500gb sata hd

    Setting i pick
    kernel: step kernel
    Video Driver: nvdarwin 512mb
    Chipset: applenforceata nforce driver
    ethernet: realtek r1000
    Usb: Patched Usb

    Fix & Patch
    acpi fix
    sata Drive icon (new)
    iopcifamily.kext patch
    iopcimfamily
    seatbelt.kext 10.5.5
    ps/2 Keyboard fix
    patch dsdt with newhpet
    applesmbios-27 rev 667mhz

    If anyone have idea on reason to fix this black screen whould be appreciated

    Solved- just had to use the other dvi port on the video card

    hello halo007 , I've got the same problem the black screen...
    This black screen mean your graphic card isn't work correctly , BUT there is a solution :

    -Insert Ipc and boot.
    -enter in single mode (add "-s" when you boot)
    -then write : rm -rf System/Library/Extensions/nvdaresman.kext
    -If the problem persist contact me.

    There is a another solution but more diffucult.
