Asus W5A + iDeneb 1.3 10.5.5
I am having some problems with iDeneb installation. I searched the forum for a problem similar to mine, but was unsuccessful. If someone knows of a post that addresses it, could they please.
My issue:
While running the iDeneb setup disc, I get to the point where I am to format the partition I have created into Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. However, once I press erase, the process seems to occur, but nothing happens to the partition. It remains as before i attempted the erase. Could this just be a bad burn for the iDeneb?
Some system specs (post if you need more info)
Ubuntu (newest distribution)
Windows XP
Standard W5A Specs:

I have 4 existing partitions as follows
ext3 (for Ubuntu) 18000mb partition
linuxswap 100 meg partition
ntfs (XP) ~40000mb partition
unassigned / unformatted 18000mb
What i tried to do was format the unformatted portion into Mac Journaled; failed, so i used linux to format it to ext2 and tried again to reformat; and it failed once more.
I am not quite sure what the issue is here. I think that if I were able to get the disk formatted into Mac OS Journalled I would be successful. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to make an Active Raw Partition, is a partition with letter but without format, you can do it with disk management or computer management in XP
