Asus w3j - hackinntosh installation
Thats my first post and thread on hackintosh forum. Last time I'm thinking about buying new macbook alu, because I've never use any Mac based OS I decide to try for a few days how it work in my currently notebook. It's Asus w3j:
Core: T2400 1,83Ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon X1600 ddr3
RAM: 1GB 667Mhz
HDD: 80gb Hitachi
WLAN: Intel PRO 3945 Wireless 802.11a/b/g
Have Hackintosh work correctly at that configuration ??
Thanks for help,
You'll need to make a partition for the mac OS unless you plan to use the entire drive (16 gig minimum - 25 Gig is bare minimum to be workable)
After install you will need to boot in safe mode from the Darwin prompt with the -x option. Use -v also so you can see what it is loading and if it does stop in safe mode and where. Then you can try -v -f on another boot to see if it will make it all the way.
The MacOS is at it's core - UNIX - so you cannot just lump a question in something and throw it here that is non-descriptive as to tell anyone not at your PC what is TRULY going on.
Use 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 - ppf4 or ppf5)
No one can help you if they cannot tell what is really going on - and if you are not ready to learn some UNIX - give up now.
