    Default ASUS P5Q Delux / Q9550 Booting Problem

    Guys,

    I am using 10.5.5 Ideneb to install OSX on my pc. I have not yet modded my bios but i was still able complete the installation of IDeneb 10.5.5 by just changing the Sata Configuration to AHCI. Now when i tried to boot with the same HDD i got the message "please insert bootable media" I changed my sata configuration back to Enchanced IDE then i was able to get boot prompt but booting got stuck at the image below.

    Should i mod my bios and then try to boot. I am under the impression that modding the bios would only help me to use all core's ? Would modding my bios help me to overcome the stuck screen.

    Theres guides for this mobo, google it if you dont wanna MOD your bios try installing Retail OSX with DSDT Patch to get all cores working
