    Default ASUS M70vm distro?

So im sick of windows and i decided that about 4 months after getting my new laptop.
    Oh the hurt.
My Laptop is an ASUS M70vm

So I looking at running Leopard on here and need to find out what distro to use.

Here are the specs(straight from windows device manager):
Processors 2x Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T9400 @ 2.53GHZ(found it on the HCL but it didn't say anything about compatability)
    RAM: 4GB DDR2
Vid Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS (looks like they support this judging from apples computers using sucha card, the 9600m [no GS])
    Computer: ACPI x86 Based-PC
Disk Drives: 2x Hitachi HTS545050KTA300 (one is currently loaded with windows the other is clean, i woyuld like to have leopard on one if possible and vista on the other...I will delete vista if needed)
Disk Drive: Optiarc BD Rom BC-5500S

I have done a forum search just so you know. I do still look for more infor and update thos post evertime i find something but it still doesn't help with what distro to use even if it is fully compatible. I have no idea what the difference betrween the distro's are.

I can list more if needed e.g wifi card, built in camera,Bluetooth module

Thanks, I will make sure to update the HCL if one works.

So download is taking an extremely long time
Is there another way to do it if you have a copy of Leopard already?
