I have got through to the language selection about 3 times using iDeneb v1.3, oned got to the next screen vua keyboard(?) but the keyboard and mouse seem to not be going

applePS2Controller: Time out on mouse input stream

I normaly get "Still waiting for root device"

I am DLing the Lawless dvd as that looked to be suited to the Phenom X2,X3 and X4 but I have just seen this thread http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/f181/70971.htm, and looks to be the same problem as I have, I will try and find a iPC iso to try.

Any other thoughts?

so it looks like it is installed, just not bootable.

The dvd no longer boots all the way to the install screen, hangs after about 30seconds (possibly at waiting for root device - cant tell as I cant seem to get to the boot options via F8)

I got past the no keyboard/mouse in the install by using a PS2 KB/mouse for the boot and a USB KB/mouse for the install.

any hints on how to get it to boot? I think the boot error was "boot0: error" I will have to go back and reboot to see.

Did you check the FAQ? theres a solution for it, btw did you installed a patched kernel like voodoo or speedstep?

I have now, I should know better as I give support on another forum...

I have reinstalled iPC on the second partition on an IDE drive but cant boot as I get the "still waiting for root device".

The HDD is the master, DVD is slave and I have tried with jumpers set for C/S and master/slave. I have tried disabling SATA and setting to IDE/RAID etc to no avail.

I did read a comment on a forum post about if you can boot the dvd and install but get the "still waiting for root device" on a HDD boot to try and copy the .kext from the DVD to installed disk. Where on the DVD would I find the .kexts?
