I have this installation problem with AMD patched ideneb v1.3 10.5.5 .... I can get it to install fine, but when after it restarts, I get the apple loading screen, with the crossed circle, but sometimes it just goes to a blank grey screen..... I ran darwin in -x and -v but sometimes it says still waiting for root device ( sometimes it doesnt if i disable the usb support in the bios), and I just cant to to the registration screen at all... SO i think im installing it wrong....... Can someone tell me what i should check off in the custimize part of the install section( acpi?, cpus=1?How do i find my chipset?..Kernel?)....... Hers my specs.

You need to select a patched kernel like speedstep or voodoo, dont need to select cpus fix

So only speedstep.... Sometimes when i run it -v mode i get a vga family specific matching fails...Also... i have 1 gig of memory, but it says 894 so do i need the applesmbios 800 or 1066, and what about acpi?.... sorry for all the noob questions. :/

@.o thats the memery frecuency, you have 1GB, is 894 cuz your sharing the memory with the video onboard, dunno much about that distro, check the official site.
