Alright, so I downloaded iDeneb v1.3 and burned it to a DVD. I run it and I only get as far as the grey apple screen, with a circle with a diagonal slash through it.

I tried installing it with -v and it got as far as Error: Firewire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full secure

afterwards it hangs on Still waiting for root device. I tried switching my HD type to AHCI and all that managed to do was let iDeneb overwrite my MBR with a Grub that doesn't work. I am in the process of trying to fix this without just formatting the drive and installing windows over it.

Ati Radeon HD 4870 video card.
