I'm still itching to know if anyone has succesfully gotten it on there. I haven't been able to try because I don't have an external DVD drive, and I don't have a reason to get one other than trying to run it as a Mac.

A good news is i've successfully install 10.6.3 on my M11xR2
- Boot with empireEFI for Core i3,5,7-M legacy.
- When it asks for the Retail OSX disk, i boot with "-v -x busratio=8" (mine is Core i5).
- The Installation UI show up and i install OSX but it fails at the end of the installation.
(iAtkos 3 v2 can make the installation success but the others are the same)
- Reboot with empireEFI with the same boot flag but boot to HDD, not the retail disk.
- After Create An Account, system panic.
- Hard Reboot by holding the Power Button
- Boot up with empireEFI and the same boot flag and The OSX run as i expected.
the Bad News is:
- Even if i installed MyHack or MultiBeast, the system can't boot without empireEFI disk and "busratio=8" boot flag.
- Don't work: Ethernet, WLAN, Audio, VGA, ...
- Trackpad and keyboard work like charm with VooDooPS2 patch (After install PS2 patch, if your USB ports don't work -> detete the AppleHPET.kext or something like that).
Didn't try Sleep function, battery icon show up perfectly.
I think this mean we can make OSX run on M11x System. Let find it out!

Hi guys, I've installed iATKOS S3 v2.0 onto my M11x R1. Here's a list of things that do and don't work:
Do work:
- Audio
- Webcam (surprisingly)
- Keyboard
- Multitouch trackpad
- Battery
Don't work:
- VGA (resolution stuck at 1024x768)
- Ethernet (haven't tried installing drivers yet)
- Wifi (currently have a default Dell wifi card, I will install an Intel 5100 some time soon even though there are no drivers)
I think the VGA is booting in as the integrated Intel by default, and as far as I know, there are no X4500HD drivers available (only X3100 which work) unfortunately.
Hopefully we can get this thing going pretty soon!
Jerro, do you have discrete only set in your BIOS? I think switchable graphics is pretty much impossible.
I also managed to get OSX 10.6.3, but on the M11x R2 using iATKOS S3 V2.
Most things worked out of the box, but I found some packages to enable the Ethernet and the bluetooth.
The only things that don't work now are the wifi, and there is no qe/ci for the graphics. Sleep also does not work, but I think by using sleepenabler I should be able to get that working.
someone posted a video...

is the gt 335m recognized at all? have you guys tried adding the device ids to the plist for NVDANV50Hal.kext (if they're not already there)

I think it's set to the integrated by default since there's no discrete only setting (I can't see it at least). So far I reinstalled Snow Leopard so that it was dual booted with Windows 7. Same situation as before basically. I wonder if it's possible to force boot into 1366x768?
Also, does anyone know how to get ethernet working? I'm a complete noob at installing kexts and my past experiences on a Lenovo X61 on 10.5.7 weren't very helpful at all...
As for the question above asking for my audio specs, I believe they're the same as what was listed before by someone else?
