    This is good news, though.

So pretty much need a 16GB USB Flash drive or Memory stick (for the SD card slot, that way you can free up all USB ports).

How do you create your own custom installer from a Retail DVD?

I've had my M11X Sitting unopened on my desk for almost a week now, hesitant to crack it open...

Any progress? I've got an M11x as well and am dying to try! I have a retail cd with 10.6.3 but I don't have a Mac to make a bootable usb of SL, is there any way I can make a bootable SL install DVD with Win7?

I see this has stalled... k20z1, and anyone else interested, while I do not have access to an M11X as of yet (waiting for the rumored R2 here), if you are still interested in hackintoshing your M11X, please post, and then PM me. I don't check this account often, but if you're still interested I can try to guide you through email.

Cheesecake, YES! I would appreciate any help. I managed to get an old laptop of mine hackintoshed somewhat, so I was able to create a bootable usb with Empire Efi and a retail Snow Leopard DVD on it. My SSD just died so when my replacement comes in Monday I'll be ready to give it a shot. Sending PM as well.

    Default Leopard

    Hi there,
I got Leopard working on the M11x with little hassle, you need to use the same setup as the MSI Wind and then do a little tweaking. I haven't managed to get the wireless or sound working yet but it's the only distro that installs properly.
