I have found tutorials on how to install Leopard onto an Acer Aspire One, a quite popular netbook. However, I have an Acer Aspire One 751h, a totally different animal with a 1366x768 12.1" screen, Intel Atom Z520 cpu and IntelGMA500 (poulsbo chipset). All of which cause problems with non-windows Os's (had to do kernel recompile for ubuntu and non-standard gfx drv, e.g., a hacky affair), ===> so no Mac OS X on the 751h yet.

However, I have seen it done on the Sony Vaio P, which has very similar HW (i.e. Z520 with Poulsbo15W chipset).

=> So, my question: Have the same hacks that led to success on the Vaio P been applied for the 751h? I myself gave up after wasting many days...


I love my Acer 751h - despite reviews saying it performs badly, it does absolutely everything i need to do, and nicely. OS X is the icing on the cake that's missing.

Yeah! I'm itching to get OSX on my girlfriends 751h - but I've tried all ways with no outright success... I'd love somebody to come up with a solution
