hi guys i got the os installed and working all fine, part from my dvd drive is not installed i cant find out the model i searched everywhere but i just cant, can anyone help me out

How can we help you find your dvd drive? You should at the least open the case and read what it says on the physical drive. Then get back to us if you can find the proper kext files for your specific cd/dvd drive.

i just need to know what to install as the drivers for disc drives are not on my install cd im using the latest version of ideneb

Yes and we cant help you find the proper kext files unless you tell us the model/brand? Please open up your computers case and look if it is not available within system profiler.

i know it is a samsung dvd dual layer drive, i cant open it as it my dads laptop
