Default 896MB Vram help (or may be other problem)

see my system spec in my signature. i have GTX260 graphics card, which is currently not used in any of Apple's official products, and a relatively new GPU.

i have 896MB of vRAM, nVinject and NVdarwin hacks doesn't have that amount of vRAM option. i tryed 786MB (8800GTX's vRAM amount) but after install, it would say "require restart, press power button to restart"

also tryed the last option which is NVKush, but it will hang after the initial install has finished, and after the restart, hang with the spinning clock-like thing.

using iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 for Intel/AMD. if that matters.

what are the possible course of action now? is there any way to install Leopard on my computer as its configured currently?

You better wait until Snow Leopard.

You can try using safe mode by typing -x in darwin or use this:

"Graphics Mode"= Tells the system what resolution width, height, color depth & refresh rate to boot the OS with.

    Ex: "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32" WIDTHxHEIGHTxDEPTH

For VESA 3.0 graphics, you may append a refresh rate after an "@" character

    Ex: "Graphics Mode"="640x480x32@60" WIDTHxHEIGHTxDEPTH@REFRESHRATE
