I am trying to install Snow leopard 10.6.2 by hazzard onto a Asus K60IN

I get to the bootloader and type -v and hit enter
then it goes through some white text (to fast for me to read)
then just restarts?

Specs
Pentium T4300 @ 2.10GHz
4GB Kingston DDR2 400MHz
NVIDIA GeForce G102M 512MB
500GB Seagate ST950032 (2 partitions, Windows 7 installed, One free for hackintosh)


Installing from DVD. This disc has worked flawlessly on my HP G60, but has not worked on this notebook or my friends HP Pavillion DV6?

could anyone please explain why this happens? or direct me to another thread where its explained?
