it would have to be a tv show and only hbo or show time copuld pick it up cus we got potty mouths

That would be an awesome idea for a podcast/tv-show.
Revision3 is a tv-station based on the web.
Although, where can you find actors that are capable of speaking l33t without sounding scripted. "HEY DUDE! U FIND THE RAMDISK EXPLOIT?" - "lol wut? wat does dat mean?"
Then we have the faggit zibri "Hey dudes. I want to test the code... plix?"
"here you go, you seem like you could help us out"
2 days later
"OMG GUYS! 1.1.3 unlcok relased. donate money"
If I get a camera, I'll probably do that shit. Would be cool if one of the programmers would do a videoblog...

I'm going to assume your comment is one of sarcasm, so try not to take anything I type the wrong way... (and I'm sketchy on some of the details because I'm trying to be as neutral as possible)
Back when I first discovered this project at InsanelyMac, 10.4.6 was the "hot shit" and all was well in paradise. Maxxuss had left us with an incomplete (yet functional) SSE2 emulation blob and enough information to keep the project alive. Kernel 10.4.4 was used as the stable release until 10.4.6 when the idea was tossed up to build the kernels from source instead of binary hacking them. Two developers stepped up and started hacking away at the source, one was dedicated to changing a minimal amount of code to get it working while the other focused on providing a wider range of support. This is when the tension started to build and names were being thrown around.
Eventually, a group of developers left InsanelyMac at the end of 2006 and got hosting elsewhere to continue their work. Attempts were made to reunite the kernel developers, but no progress was ever really made. When word of InsanelyMac's sale got around, people were distraught and started migrating over to the developers new site and things were kicked off once more with the release of Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3 compatible kernels for 10.4.8. A few users started complaining about a lack of kernel source (as we were bound to the APL) and threats were eventually made. After a while, security became a major concern when one of the developers IRC accounts was hacked into and the "secrets" behind the kernel (both binary and source) that the developers were keeping away from the public were released. All that is well into the past now, yet the issues keep arising.
Now, into the present day... same shit, different platform. iPhone development has come a long way in such a short time. The same issues, however, are beginning to arise as interest in the project increases. Developers are ussually too busy working on "the next big thing" to keep up with support requests that they eventually get tired and ignore the community to some extent. On the other hand, some users are trying to contribute, but everything is so closed off that it's near impossible to help out.
That's all I feel like posting right now, but I'm sure you'll see me around again in the near future, ready and willing to help out again on the next big thing.
