What were you Using Before You Got An iPhone

A lnokia 6288 (3G) even though there was no 3G in Mexico lol ($400) and a Palm lifedrive (kinda slow because of harddrive).

I had exactly the same before I got an iPhone! I still have my little black nano... the first one!

Technically I'm not eligible to answer this question as I haven't bought an iPhone yet (it rolls out in my country in less than 2 weeks). But, yeah, I've been using a Nokia N70 before.

Thats the first one for me too. I'm not that old. Anyways, about the N70, I'm not completely satisfied with the experience. It freezes and crashes frequently. Its slow. Its brick-sized. Its interface looks retro. And it doesn't support most of the audio/video formats except mp3, avi (with 3rd party app), mp4 and 3gp.

But, it has a great cam and a flash (which I use as a flashlight with a 3rd party app) and works excellent as a normal phone. Excellently optimized as a phone while lacking the multimedia gloss of the other phones in its class.

Sorry for the long post. Guess I got too much time in my hands. Lemme get a life. :D

Oh yes, I was using the totally craptacular Nokia N93. God, i really hated that thing. Then i went back to the Nokia 6680 and was happy... Got an iPhone or three when it came out. Sold them one after the other cos i was bored.
Saw the N95 and got that. More joy, up until it was nicked from my hotel room along with my PSP Slim! Then i got me a sleek Nokia N81 8GB that kept on crashing, so i sold that one off a month ago. Now am back to my 2G iphone 16gb and i am really happy!

so right now: iPhone 16GB+Sonyericsson K530i+T-mobile Shadow= All bases covered.

No 3G in Ghana so i havent got the new iPhone. pointless to get one.
