    Default DIY micro sim?

    Does anyone of you know whether it works if just cut a normal sim card and make it into a micro sim to use in my iPad? My mobile phone provider says I canítÖ

    If you are careful with the alignment, you can cut a regular or mini sim card to the micro sim size.

    Whether it will work with your provider depends on how long you have had your current sim. Some (quite old) sim cards need to be replaced, but most "just work" when cut.

    A general rule is that if the sim card works in an unlocked iPhone 3GS then it will work in an iPad.
